The last year has been an exciting one for Travel Gift Card. As well as being on-sale B2C in Clinton Cards and WH Smith, the Travel Gift Card was catapulted into the B2B arena in September of last year! This provided a unique, exciting reward and incentive for the employee benefits sector and has been taken on by many of the key motivation houses. Other companies have jumped at the chance to use it for their members to provide real benefits.
To sum up the first year has been a very successful one!
Year one for any new product is about finding out how best to relate to your target audience and what your consumers want and need. So we’ve been working tirelessly to find out what works best for our clients and yours, by exploring what’s desired from both the product and the support team.
We are pleased to announce … we listened!
Your Travel Card encompasses everything our clients told us they wanted. A clear name, a strap line which showcases the flexibility of the product and the many ways in which the product can be used – by anyone, no matter who they are or where they want to go! ‘Your Card. Your Choice’.
The design of the card incorporates the logos of some of our 250 well-known and trusted travel providers – providing our clients with an element of trust and recognition when both purchasing and redeeming.
The redemption process is now much more streamlined and customer-friendly. Taking cardholders to one website where they can purchase, register, top-up and redeem their balances.

Travel Gift Card was recently nominated and shortlisted as a finalist at the Prepaid Awards 2011 in the ‘Best Prepaid Gift Programme’ category. Even our humble selves are IMPRESSED especially as this was hotly contested across the globe with several international entries!!
Although we were pipped to the post by Dell’s eGift Card Programme, we were thrilled to be finalists and in such good company. This is fantastic recognition for the Travel Gift Card. Now everyone knows that its unique, flexible, user-friendly and offers great discounts across a world of travel.
It was a fantastic event at The Royal Courts of Justice with 550 people attending, making it twice the size of last year. There was a record number of entries this year in over the 16 categories, reflecting the growth in the prepaid and gift card market, currently valued at over £4 billion.
We’re saving the date for next year’s ceremonies – on February 15th in India, 21st March in South Africa, 18th April in France and on the 15th June in Canada. This truly is a global market!
Are aim for next year is of course, to win gold in Olympic year!

The Lederhosen are part of the Oktoberfest experience but we all know they are secretly enjoying the dress code and expect to see them in the office next week sporting their new look. We are all thoroughly enjoying it anyway!! Thanks for the picture boys…

A huge congratulations to Tania Featherstone (soon to be Smith) for her wedding this weekend. Tania, our Travel Specialist will be tying the knot on Saturday 1st October to Mr Jason Smith.
We wish her all the best for her future with Jason and hope their day is fantastic. She was dressed up to fit the part today, and is already looking like a blooming bride!

We are delighted to announce that the Travel Gift card has been named as one of the finalists for the Prepaid Awards 2011. The winners will be announced at the ceremony which is taking place on 6th October at the Royal Courts of Justice in London.
Now in its 4th year, the Prepaid Awards has become a firm fixture in the professional and social calendar for many key figures in the industry. The first event in 2008 drew a crowd of only 250 and had 5 categories. This year, there will be over 500 attendees and 16 categories, for what will truly be a memorable occasion.
Call for Entries went out for the 2011 ceremony at the beginning of April. Strikingly, submissions came in from all over the world, which truly signifies the significance of prepaid on the global stage and the growth of the industry worldwide.
Our Travel Gift Card product has made the top four who were entered for the ‘Best Prepaid Gift Programme’ award!

Travel Gift Card is launching in 5 European Countries on Saturday 16th September with one of our lovely clients, Lyoness.
Keith Herman, Peter Pantilides and Ellie Senior are flying out to Budapest today for the launch of the product at the Lyoness Sensation tomorrow night – with 11,000 Lyoness Members!
It should be a great event – including a performance from non-other than ‘Shaggy’…it wasn’t me!
